SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2017 – Nationality

Candidates interested in applying for SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Examination) should be

  • Indian National, or
  • Nepalese Subject, or
  • Bhutanese Subject, or
  • Refugee from Tibet entering India before 1st January 1962 having intention of permanent settlement in India
  • Indian origin individuals migrating from nations like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, East African Nations (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi) and Vietnam having intention of permanent settlement in India

Apart from Indian citizens, all other candidates described above should possess valid proof of citizenship provided by the Government of India.

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2017 – Age Limit

As per SSC authorities, candidates applying for SSC MTS should be maximum twenty-five years and minimum eighteen years age. Indian constitution provides age relaxation for reserved category candidates. The upper-age relaxation of these candidates is as follows:

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2017 – Educational Qualification

A third major eligibility criterion is Educational qualification of the candidate. Candidates interested in appearing for the SSC MTS Examination should be minimum 10th pass with a valid certificate from recognized board or institution. Candidates can also apply with similar qualification provide it is recognized by Indian government.
